Without a doubt, this is the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The service, food, and infrastructure are simply outstanding. The location is highly convenient, being just a 30-minute speed boat ride from Male airport. The Spa and diving center are also exceptional. With only 40 villas on the island, the experience is truly delightful. It's an eco-friendly resort featuring a natural garden within the island and abundant nature all around. My only minor gripe is the lack of an adults-only area. Depending on the number of children present during your stay and their behavior, it can occasionally be a bit bothersome.
The island was stunning in every way. We spent 3 nights in an Ocean Villa, which was spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed. We could see fish, including baby sharks, swimming nearby. We had butlers assigned to us who were just a message away, ready to transport us around the island or back to our room via buggy. The restaurants offered a variety of high-quality Indian food that tasted delicious. The beaches were pristine, featuring turquoise blue waters and white sands. Overall, the services were excellent, and the island had a vibrant atmosphere.
We had an incredible lunch at Canopus. The food was excellent, offering a variety of options that set it apart from other places on the island. The Italian owners' influence was evident in the high quality of the food and the outstanding service. The tuna carbonara was absolutely delicious! You also have to try the brownie with ice cream. We will definitely return. Plus, they have some very lovely kittens and cats!
