Turtle Bay Beach

Best place to stay on Santo! We travelled a lot on Efate and Santo and it is definitely value for money - so we most definitely recommend staying at Turtle Bay Beach house. Alex is the most welcoming genuine host who will give you all the tips and help he can planning trips and local activists. The place has amazing views and you can SUP or kayak to so many islands or blue holes from the place. The house is super clean and the yard and surrounding is beautiful 🏝️🌸

Excellent accommodation! Value for money. Stayed in Turtle Bay Tree House this trip. Beautiful spacious house with King size bedrooms and modern bathrooms with outdoor covered showers for each room. Massive open plan kitchen and living area with lots of airflow with all of the windows and doors securely screened and big fans to keep you comfortable. Beautifully landscaped grounds. A lovely deck and jetty for arvo sunset drinks and easy access to the water right at the end of the jetty. Access to kayaks, SUPs and snorkelling gear. Outdoor shower to rinse off. A great restaurant within walking distance. Alex' website is full of useful info. Alex and the staff are really friendly. You wont regret staying here.

Fantastic place to stay. Alex is an amazing and accomodating host on what to see and do around Santo. The house is right on the water with your own private jetty. Great for sunset drinks. 🥂 Water equipment available. The house is spacious and well laid out. We will be back! Thank you for a great week!

We spent 7 wonderful nights in Apartment 2. Beautifully designed apartment fully kitted out with everything you would need for a perfect base for your Santo adventures or just chillaxing. Kayaks and SUPs available for use in the sheltered waters of Turtle Bay and easily launched off your own jetty. Be warned though, the rescue dog and cat will sneak into your heart and you will find it hard to resist patting them. If you are short of ideas for how to fill in your days, just ask Alex to recommend something. We certainly found some of his "secret" places were spectacular.

I recently had the distinct pleasure of spending a week at Alex's holiday accomodation at Turtle Bay on the easten coast of Santo. The location is superb and whilst a little remote from Luganville, its setting is uncluttered and quiet. I would probably hire a vehicle next time to aid in exploring and procuring supplies. The kitchen is appointed with all the necessary items and Alex and his team were helpful in facilitating BBQs and the like. I stayed in one of the spacious units, at Turtle Bay Tree House. The rooms are airy and well protected against insects allowing for natural breezeways right through. The unit has two ensuites and the showers are positioned to appreciate the open air with sliding door access providing a refreshing atmosphere whilst also keeping steam and moisture out of the bathroom and unit. It’s a short 15 metre walk to the jetty and a snorkel or kayak trip literally right outside the back door! All in all a brilliant spot, great value for money and helpful, friendly and knowledgeable hosts. Couldn’t ask for more.
