Woodstar beach

This campground is definitely worth a visit. The beach is the highlight and can be easily reached on foot from any of the campsites. The hosts are extremely friendly and always ready to assist with any small request. We are eagerly looking forward to returning next summer.

There are so many amazing things to mention about this campground! The location is perfect if you want to use it as a starting point to explore the U.P. If you're simply seeking a place to unwind on the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan, this beach is absolutely stunning. Randy and Tim were incredibly helpful and accommodating. I'm already counting down the days until I can return here next year!

Randy is a legendary figure and Joe Joe is an absolute sweetheart. This place is like a little piece of paradise. The children have an absolute blast here and it feels incredibly safe and relaxing. I've been here for over a month and the owners have been absolutely amazing. The restrooms and showers are absolutely fantastic. The playground for the kids is fantastic. No matter which site you're in, you'll have a breathtaking view of Lake Michigan. The beach area is without a doubt worth every night spent here. The kids never want to leave, and Randy and Joe treat them like their own. If you're looking for that special place, come here and give it a try - you won't regret it. My wife and I recently stayed at Woodstar Beach Campground. It is a truly lovely campground, and we will definitely return in the future. I must say, it was a hidden gem in the Upper Peninsula. The bathrooms and showers were clean, as well as the entire campground. They even had laundry and ice available on-site. The owners, were always present to assist with any inquiries. The firewood was reasonably priced too! Additionally, the campground is located right on the shores of Lake Michigan, making it a perfect base camp for exploring the UP during the day.

This beach was absolutely beautiful! The owner gave us a warm welcome and was incredibly friendly. The campground had brand new play equipment for the children. The facilities were well-maintained and modern. The picnic tables were recently replaced and the view was breathtaking! I would definitely recommend this place.
