During my previous visit, there were unattended dog feces, but now the beach has been thoroughly cleaned. I truly appreciate the serene and tranquil atmosphere it offers. I highly recommend this place.
The parking is convenient and the bathrooms are well-maintained. The only drawback is that the water is shallow and filled with sharp rocks, so it's necessary to wear water shoes to avoid getting injured.
As mentioned in a previous post, this beach is not open to the general public. Residents of the village can enjoy free access by obtaining a parking sticker either from the village office or at the beach attendance booth after Memorial Day. Non-residents, on the other hand, need to pay for a beach access pass (sticker). The beach is very suitable for children, with a small playground available. The water is shallow, allowing you to walk quite a distance before it reaches a depth of five feet. During the evening, the beach is open to everyone, and from Memorial Day to Labor Day, it is open to all.
The beach on the harbor is a peaceful public spot. We had no trouble finding ample free parking during our visit on Memorial Day weekend. The sand is alright, although there are quite a few shells, rocks, and pebbles. If you're fortunate, you might even come across a horseshoe crab in the water.
The beach is clean and peaceful, with a spacious parking lot.
