30 minute walk from the main road. Beautiful walk and beach, Eagle Rock itself is underwhelming, views of the firth of forth, crammond island and Dalmany Castle, the shore line needs a good clean up. Nice afternoon though.
Awesome!, didn't expect such a lonesome place to exist nearby to the mostly visited place in Edinburgh ( cramond ), had a wonderful place along with my friends, it will be more easier to travel if it's low tide as you can just cross from cramond to there in few minutes as it will take about 48 minutes if you are taking a proper route to reach destination.
Ancient site on the banks of the Firth of Forth, the rock itself has a marking of Roman or pre-Roman origin. Easily visible and providing the name.
A healthy stroll to reach, and Cramond close by.
A little bit funny as even the sign does not quite know what the vague carving is or what era, but worth a visit just for the comedic value. Nice coastline.
