Talik beach

The environment is not clean enough, and transportation poses challenges for individuals with disabilities.

This place is absolutely perfect. We stumbled upon the beach by accident, and although it was crowded, the sea was stunning. You can even see the sea creatures at the bottom. I also want to add a side note: behind the beach, there is a thermal pond (apparently containing sulfur) of various sizes. It's a great spot to take a shower after swimming in the sea :) I included this in the second and third photos.

This is one of my favorite beaches in Datça. Unlike the stony beaches in the area, this one is sandy. The water here is clear and clean, and there are businesses where you can either make use of their services or just hang around freely. We've been here for 3 days, and today is the 3rd of October. They say this is the best time to visit. The sea water is warm now, whereas it tends to be cooler in August. It's quite hot when the sun is out, and I got sunburned, but we wear fleece at night. There's no humidity at the moment, and there wasn't any in July and August either, thanks to the wind which prevents moisture retention. Palamutbükü was windier, but we stayed there and found it similar to here. At the end of the season, the beach is peaceful with very few people around. If you eat and drink at the establishments, they don't charge extra for sunbed rental, which is also the case at the beaches of Palamutbükü. During the summer season, you'll find tents everywhere, along with boutique hotels and bungalows.

The beach is centrally located, which leads to parking issues. Although its name suggests it's stony, it turns sandy after the first few meters 😀. The sea is stunning but quite cold due to a small stream flowing from the lake. The beach is equipped with numerous sun loungers and umbrellas available for a fee, but if you spend 40 lira, the fee is waived. You can also bring your own umbrella and chair if you prefer. Adjacent to the beach is a lake reputed to have soda and healing properties, as shown in the photos I've added. Swimming in the lake is enjoyable, with fish that nibble on the microorganisms on your body, which tickles a bit but is something you get used to. The beach also has trees that provide shade. I visited once and found it pleasant, but I don't plan to make the trip to Datça again 😁.
