Playa de Pendueles

Be prepared to park about 1KM away and bring strong footwear to get there. I had to give up on it as I only wore sandals and it was a very wet day.

It is advisable to walk from the town because there is no parking and it is a beach that is not easily accessible. Its relief ignites the imagination and exalts inspiration. It makes you want to start painting a picture. The only shame is the stagnant smell (at least in August when I visited) but it is worth isolating that sense to enjoy such wild beauty.

It is a somewhat wild and photogenic beach but it is not one of the best for bathing due to the difficult access -of course on foot-, the rocks and the algae that are usually present. Despite that, it is worth taking a walk and getting there.

Difficult to access, along a path that becomes narrower and more complicated. It is a beautiful cove, of medium size, where you can find fantastic areas to bathe. It is also an ideal place for diving, fishing, and finding crustaceans (there is a great variety). If you visit Llanes, this should be one of the routes that you should not miss. The views of the beach from above, with the indentations and protrusions of the rocks in the sea, are truly spectacular.

The beach is very beautiful to see and visit. Typical of Pirates of the Caribbean with several rocks scattered on the shore and in the sea a little further inland. Last year we were also there and access was not easy but this year it is much more expensive. It must be that with some storm or flood due to the rains the access has been destroyed. Once down, the entire beach is made of stones, large and small, quite uncomfortable to walk barefoot and also this year, due to the currents, it was full of kg of algae, so it smells like rotten eggs and is full of flies and mosquitoes. The place in my opinion is very nice to see but only for a while. To stay on a beach for the day it is better to find another option. This is ideal for taking photos, yes.
