This place is a great destination for those looking for a day at the shore. It has plenty of gray sand, shallow water, and plenty of amenities like bars, restaurants, sailing and surfing schools, and even paddleboard rentals. There are even restrooms, a fantastic boulevard, and the Los Angeles council have made adjustments for disabled folks, with parking almost on the beach and wheelchair access all the way to the sea. Despite occasional storms during the autumn months that can leave the beach depleted of sand, the council works hard to rebuild the beach before the tourist season begins. So come on down and experience the best of LA's beaches!
