Bird Island Beach

The most amazing place on earth! We visited for our honeymoon in 2010 and it’s a whole other world away. Basic accommodation but all the comfort you need for a holiday. Glorious beaches and so close to nature you can touch it. Amazing birds, wildlife (turtles, crabs, snorkelling, dolphins) and great staff to look after you. Great community feel in the dining hall and bar, we cannot wait to come back one day. So many happy memories.

* The most perfect place on earth * We were here for three nights and enjoyed this days as no other in our live. We are animal lovers and were totally amazed by this island and its fauna, whether on land or in the sea. If you plan a stay here you should know that the nature has priority before the tourism. Animals (little geckos) are allowed to come in your bungalow. You will listen the sound of the thousands of birds day and night. Its a full nature experience! The beaches are breathtaking and the sky at night let you feel like in another world. The bungalows are nice, clean and comfortable. The served food is very delicious and the service personal very friendly. Some day we surely come back!

Real paradise!!! We spent here 10 days and the rest of our holidays in other parts of Seychelles, we really missed this place. Simple but comfortable chalets, privacy, very friendly staff and the owners, delicious food, clean blue water , white sand, beautiful beaches all around the island, thousands and thousands of birds, turtles, swimming in the sea with tortoises, beautiful sunsets and NO mobile signal .... What else do you need to have a rest and enjoy the real nature? If there is a chance, we want definitely come back

Best island stay at Seychelles. In my life time this is the first time i saw a bird Colony. Do you want calm and quite holiday, this is the best place for that. You cam see so many birds around the island. July is the time for egg hatching. In the north part of island, you can see millions of bird with eggs. In the North East side you can find sea turtles. In the night time they are mostly coming to this area. East side is best for snorkeling. In the same place you can see the sun rise and sunsets in the morning and evening. All the information you can find it near to the reception area.( Ex: Sunn Rise, Sunset, Low Tide, High Tide and ext.) This is a eco friendly hotel and you are having less of facilities. But it is enough for spend your holiday peacefully. You can have a nature experience around this island. You can have a limited number of food items in the Lodge. But you can experience delicious Creole Food. Staff also friendly and helpful. Per day only having one Air Seychelles flight to Bird Island from Mahe.

An amazing place with very friendly staff and a relaxed, "cast away" atmosphere. The bungalows are big ,comfy and environmental friendly. If you want to spend a holiday close to the nature it's the right place to go! And: Birds, everywhere :) A MUST for birders!
