Playa Hilton Ponce

As soon as I arrived, I was instantly impressed by the beautiful location of the resort. The impressive lobby and the friendly greeting from the staff created a wonderful atmosphere for my stay. The check-in process was efficient, and I was promptly shown to my room. Although the room showed some signs of use, it was still spacious and impeccably cleaned. The cozy bed and the balcony with a view of the ocean provided the ideal place to relax and enjoy the stunning scenery.

From the moment I arrived, the customer service was outstanding! The staff warmly greeted me and were kind and accommodating, always ready to assist with any request. The rooms are well-maintained and very nice, with modern showers. Despite being a 30-minute drive from San Juan, the amenities are good and it is definitely worth the trip. The value for money is exceptional, especially during this season.

This beach is a fantastic destination for families, offering various amenities such as a top-notch gym and a delightful open-air design. The pool area is enjoyable, although it tends to be more focused on families, resulting in a lively atmosphere with many children. However, if you are seeking a luxurious resort experience, this may not be the ideal place for you. The breakfast provided is exceptional, but the dining choices are limited and only available for a specific period of time. It is advisable to plan on dining downtown if you decide to visit, which is another aspect that prevents this location from being considered a true resort by many.

The location was fantastic. I really enjoyed how easy it was to get from the hotel to the beach. The bar was good and the music was amazing! The chips and salsa were also very affordable. However, the TV barely worked and kept showing an error message. The room definitely needs a major upgrade. Unfortunately, there were ants everywhere and they got into everything. They did warn us about the sand fleas from the beach and we did encounter them. We were itchy until we returned home. Despite these issues, I would consider staying there again. I just wish the room looked a bit nicer. The bathroom was the worst part of the hotel. The parking was a bit of a walk, but not too bad. On a positive note, having one large pool and two hot tubs was great.

I'm not really a fan of it. The hotel decor and amenities are not up to my standards. It's too big and lacks sophistication for my taste. The beach is rather small and has black sand, which doesn't make for a pleasant swimming experience. However, I do enjoy the pool, and the restaurant serves a delicious sweet pea soup with a beautiful view of palm trees. On a positive note, I absolutely adore Adana's 2-hour tropical massage and facial treatment. It's incredibly relaxing, and she is extremely skilled.
