Conrad Resort Main Island

One of the most magical places on Earth! It was incredibly peaceful, and the staff were absolutely wonderful. The water and night sky were breathtakingly beautiful. Photos simply cannot capture the majesty of this resort. However, there are a few drawbacks worth mentioning. We made our dinner and activity reservations 10-14 days prior to our arrival, as recommended. I was under the impression that without these reservations, we wouldn't be able to dine. We ate at The Wine Cellar, KoKo Grill, Ithaa Underwater, and Ufaa. The prices for these places weren't very clear until we arrived. We didn't realize that we could also dine at Rangali Bar, which was marketed as "bar food." I wish this had been more transparent, but we have no regrets about enjoying some amazing multicourse meals, even though they were pricey. The in-room dining was also disappointing. My husband ordered a medium-rare burger, but it arrived well-done. Even after reordering, it was still well-done. Given the price point, we expected everything to be impeccable. Additionally, before upgrading our room, we stayed in one of the Grand Water Villas, which seemed to run on a septic system, resulting in a very unpleasant smell from the restroom. Despite this, the overwater villas are gorgeous. Breakfast at Vilu was our favorite, as we much prefer A La Carte over buffet. Despite these minor issues, we would love to stay here again if we ever return to the Maldives.

Stunning resort with breathtaking views and distinct islands for adults and families with children. Excellent recognition for Hilton Honors members. The staff is very friendly. Mid-Stay review: After spending a few days here, the resort remains beautiful. It's unfortunate that during the current low season, there are no additional discounts for on-site facilities. I also miss daily activities for guests, such as yoga classes, a resort tour explaining the resort's operations, and how the facilities are managed.

The resort is charming, with stunning rooms and villas, delicious food, and exceptional service. My only critique is the absence of drink service at the pool. It would be a small effort for one of the bar staff to walk around the pool area every 15 minutes to see if anyone would like a drink.

This is the most incredible place we've ever stayed. The service and food are exceptional. It's quiet and relaxing with a laid-back, easygoing atmosphere. We recommend skipping the underwater restaurant dinner in favor of the afternoon cocktails. Our favorite spot was the serene bar.

Our stay was mostly pleasant, and we were fortunate to have a villa in a great location. The main island is definitely the best choice as everything is conveniently situated. However, be aware that one side of the main island has a windy and severely eroded beach. If you’re a beach enthusiast, hope for a spot on the yellow side (see attached photo). The adults-only island is quite far from everything, lacks a breeze, and has hot, heavy air. The service was responsive and friendly, but there’s room for improvement. I’ve experienced awesome service at all-inclusive hotels and resorts; this place is not all-inclusive, and the service was just acceptable. Additionally, our host seemed disinterested and had poor timing for our activities. Despite these issues, this place is worth visiting at least once for its natural beauty and stunning views.
