Great beach to capture Sunrise. Unfortunately the beaches are full with litter, leftovers stuffs ppl came here for camping/walking.
The place was amazing, we came by bicycle to the beach, with a plan for bike camping but there are no camp sites available but we still managed to camp here at night. We had to pay RM 30 to the shop owner to use their toilet for the shower throughout the night. The view during daytime was simply breathtaking and if you love hiking, do climb the Keluang hill nearby and there are trekking available. Overall we love this place and we will be coming back again.
The best beach in Besut. You can take a 7 minute boat ride to the nearby island. The boat ride costs RM20 per adult and RM5-Rm10 per child depending on size or age (17th November 2021, weekday). They will take you to the island, let you have fun & take photos for about 30 minutes before returning to the mainland. There is also a banana boat ride on weekends & maybe on school holidays. The beach is good for children to play/swim. The water is nice and warm. There is an elevated walkway near the foot of the hill facing the sea. There is a big crowd on weekends (Friday & Saturday) because the sunrise view from the hilltop is very beautiful. It is a big beach and you'll always have your space.
Such a beautiful beach at Besut. There are a few stalls to buy some beverages and toys for kids. Long sandy beaches but not suitable to swim since the strong waves there. There are a few spots good for photograp. Please keep the nature clean and bring out what you bring in with you.
Hidden gems of Terengganu. Famous by local and domestic. Breathtaking ambiance and great place for photos. Beautiful water surprisingly, even this long beach area next to small river. Bukit Keluang named after the largest bats in this stone hill which was and still can be found over here. Besides, many stone caves here as their habitats and now beautiful place to be enjoy. You may find the stone formation here very different from another parts in Malaysia. Few caves are now attractions and very nice for picnics. This amazing destination not very famous among tourist but still a very beautiful place to enjoy for both water activities and scenery. Locals do have their specialities to offer where you may find most traditional Terengganu's foods are here. Fresh seafood with choices of local and Southern Thai appetite can be easily found as their menu almost in every small restaurant along the beach. Most spectacular view of Rhu island and Perhentian Island to be notice on a very hot sunny day where turquoise blue water will absolutely give your eyes a shock. It's amazingly beautiful....
