Windermere Island beach

Our experience at Ocean Daze was absolutely incredible. The house that Miranda and her husband constructed is truly stunning. We adore the seclusion of the island, the pristine blue waters, and the picturesque pink sand beach. Miranda went above and beyond in assisting us with dinner suggestions and ensuring that we had all the necessities. We have already made reservations for next year!

Our family, consisting of parents and three children aged 9-16, had an incredible experience at this stunning home on Windermere Island. The beach right in front of the house offered us the perfect level of seclusion. It was absolutely pristine, and we hardly encountered any other people during our long walks along the shore, which covered a distance of 4-5 miles. We had a great time exploring Windermere on the bikes provided by the house, and we also enjoyed kayaking and paddleboarding in the calm and crystal-clear waters of the "front garden," where we had the opportunity to observe sea turtles and other wildlife. The boys had an absolute blast spearfishing on the reef just off the beach and managed to catch dinner for us on several occasions. Additionally, we made use of the Club for a few meals, which was incredibly convenient as it was located just down the road. The house itself was extremely comfortable and equipped with everything we could possibly need. There were numerous outdoor spaces and hammocks where we could relax, and for indoor entertainment, there were movies, puzzles, and games available. Miranda, our hostess, was absolutely perfect. She warmly welcomed us upon our arrival, gave us a tour of the property, and was always available and quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had throughout the week. It was evident that she and her husband had poured their hearts into this property, and they take great pleasure in sharing this idyllic and secluded paradise with guests who will truly appreciate their time spent in this extraordinary place.

I can't wait to return to this incredible retreat. We've traveled all over the world and rarely revisit the same place, but Eleuthera and Ocean Daze are an exception. The location is absolutely breathtaking, with the turquoise ocean on one side and the Sound, filled with sea life, on the other. Ocean Daze is a stunning, clean, comfortable, and peaceful home, equipped with everything you need for an amazing vacation. My favorite spot is the hammock hanging on the back porch. It was difficult to concentrate on the book I was reading because the colors of the ocean kept capturing my attention. My husband and I highly recommend Ocean Daze, and we found the owner Miranda to be kind, helpful, respectful of our privacy, but always willing to go the extra mile if necessary. Ocean Daze truly feels like a slice of paradise.

Miranda was an amazing host who was always quick to respond and went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. We were greeted by the most stunning beach every morning and the house itself was incredibly comfortable and elegant. It was a peaceful and secluded location with plenty of amenities for various activities such as snorkeling, fishing, kayaking, and beach games. The kitchen was fully equipped and there were numerous outdoor areas to relax and enjoy the surroundings, including a beautiful balcony and a cabana with hammocks. We had a fantastic time and felt like we were in a truly magical home. Thank you, Miranda, for everything!

Ocean Daze was absolutely incredible. We were looking for a peaceful spot to discover the island and immerse ourselves in the local culture. It was our final major vacation before our eldest daughter headed off to college, and it couldn't have been more perfect. Miranda and John provided us with fantastic recommendations for dining and exploring, including the opportunity to have a private in-home dining experience with a friendly and talented local chef. The breeze was consistently warm and refreshing, allowing us to keep the glass doors open all day long. Waking up in the master bedroom to the breathtaking ocean views was a truly unforgettable experience, and we were able to witness the stunning sunset from the wrap around porch. Personally, my favorite spot was the hammock, where I spent my time reading three entire books while enjoying the sight of my family playing in the gorgeous turquoise water. We laughed, relaxed, and cherished every single moment spent in this heavenly home away from home. ❤️❤️❤️
