Lovely Beach, roaring waves, clean, tidy, unspoilt, easy access from car park, sturdy wooden boardwalk straight onto soft golden sand.
Rip tides are occurring so no swimming but safe to paddle those sore aching feet.
Very good access. Large parking lot. Everywhere there are restrictions; it's not allowed to stay overnight. Although looking at old photos, you can see that people used to stay with tents. No overnight!
Powder sand, Rolling Dunes and crashing waves. This is the beaches North West Donegal is famous for. Good car parking and a short board walk lead you to the beach. The sands shelve steeply to the sea meaning the rolling breakers crash on tbe beach. A good length of beach provides a decent walk. Exploring the dunes gives breath taking views of the coast line.
