Nudist beach? Or 4WD RALLY BEACH? Our hotel had a sandy way to the beach, and it was like walking in the desert under the almighty hot sun which burnt our skin! The sand was so soft and our feet went in to the depth, so it was very hard to walk, and also the walkway was shard with 4WD pathway, which scared us and we had to give way to them by going to the sand hills! It was awful, and in the beach there was a 4WD rally and it was close for them to destroy our bag and crush our sunglasses and phones when we were swimming! And we couldn’t help going to the ocean as our skin was burning and we needed to cool down after the long walk! Needn’t to say that we were the only 2 people swimming and there was a nudist old man with his car who followed me, and I was scared, and had to stick to my man all the time! I can’t describe enough how difficult it was to go back and how much we regret the adventure!

Great beach, just enjoy and don’t get your 4WD stuck in the sand. Located just on the north end of One Mile Beach at Anna Bay, South of Port Stephen’s (Nelson Bay) less than a hour north of Newcastle. The weather is good most of the year and doesn’t have too much rain. If you want to eat out, it’s only a short drive to Port Stephen’s where you can have the choice of different foods and dining options for breakfast, lunch or dinner, or maybe the lot. There’s also a good variety of shopping and souvenirs. A great place for whale watching and the Myall Lakes are just a short drive to the north. Behind the Samurai Beach is a Koala sanctuary located in the grounds of the Treescape Holiday Park. There is also a camping area on the north end of the beach but there is no water or power, and take your rubbish away with you when you leave.

Nice beach. No luck catching fish thou. 4wd track out is good until some idiots decide to do circles in the dunes and ripped up the tracks. Making it an uncomfortable ride. Fairly busy early new year with both nude and textile mixed almond the beach. Enjoyable 2 days spent here.

Love the beach drive. Took my CRV with 15psi tyre pressure and nil issue. What a pleasant drive down there. Will do that again
