Very nice beach, but the staff is not very friendly, especialy with others then greeks.!
The management of this beach, this year, is absolutely terrible! They make various reservations and, although they tell you in the morning where you can stay, which umbrellas are free, after 1 hour they come to put reserved sign on your umbrella. And then, violently, they ask you to move without any right to reply. It is such a shame because the beach is really nice and the water really good ( although in the morning can be quite agitated with high waves). We came to this beach for many years now, and everything was friendly and peaceful, but with the new management, things can turn nasty. If you don't mind being moved at the back of the beach 1-2 hours after arriving, and 1-2 times per day you can come here. Another negative point is the way you are being treated. Although it is not a private beach, and you order from the bar, they ask you to throw you coffe that you had in the car on they there or to drink it in the car. They won't let the children finish their doughnuts that they've started in the car, which is absolutely ridiculous, not to say abusive. Even though it was our second favourite beach, we are not returning here until the current ma agement is not changed. Thankfully, there are plenty more nice places to go neasr Nea Roda and Ouranoupoli, with nicer staff, who are really interested in their business and are treating their customers with respect.
Guys. Stay away from this beach. The worst beach in Halkidiki. Stuff very rude and instigate trouble. They have people appointed to check what you drink and what you are eating. This is not a private beach, so you should be allowed to have your own food. I been told to put my own drink and food in the bin. People arguing with stuff about seating being reserved and them forced to move to other seats. This was a very nice beach years ago, but unfortunately, from this year, turned into a very uncomfortable place to spend your holiday. Good luck to everyone. Enjoy the sun somewhere else.
A one-star rating is not even worth this beach. Those who have ventured to Voulista Beach in previous years are in for a shock. The personel has changed, rules and the welcoming atmosphere is nowhere to be seen! Upon entrance, you are followed by staff, indicating where you should sit without choice. You are then told that you are unable to consume food and drink outside the premises. Otherwise, you are threatened with being removed from the beach. As someone travelling with children, it is unacceptable to be unable to bring your own food due to dietary restrictions. An indication of €5-€10 is not an accurate reflection on how much is spent per person. The staff wear ear sets to mimick private security, and you are trampled on when they collect rubbish and watch you. My advice is do not visit despite it being unfortunate as the natural surroundings are beautiful. Dear Voulista staff , stop trying so hard to mimick something you are not. You are not advertised as a private beach, and your service leaves a sour taste for those who have come to Voulista in previous years. Do not ruin the reputation of Nea Roda and Ournaopolis and have some respect and class when approaching customers. DEFINITELY NOT child friendly or worth the time.
