Our last visit to this beach was over 17 years ago, and I must say, the changes have been quite positive. The beach now boasts sandy shores and shallow waters, with the pier ensuring the water remains calm, clear, and clean. The turquoise hue of the water is simply stunning. It's an incredibly safe spot for young children. The fine sand is perfect for various activities such as making sand balls, building castles, or creating heart-shaped photo holes. If you're unfamiliar with a heart-shaped photo hole, it's essentially a heart-shaped hole dug in the sand. You can line it with paper towels or another material to keep your device sand-free, set a timer on your camera or smartphone, and take a photo with your head popping above the hole. The gazebos can be reserved in advance for large group picnics. The washrooms are clean, and the showers are conveniently located behind a wall but still out in the open. There's ample free parking right by the beach. As a bonus, the beach offers a spectacular view of the sunset from the pier.
