Agios Nikitas plages

The finest beach in Lefkada. I've been coming here for years, and there's no other beach on the island quite like this nudist-friendly spot. It offers a sense of peace and tranquility that's unmatched. Kudos to the beach and the locals, who are incredibly friendly and welcoming.

Cette plage à Lefkada est incomparable en termes d'aménagements, offrant tout, des douches et toilettes aux bars et restaurants, ainsi que des piscines et des clubs pour ceux qui cherchent une atmosphère plus animée. Elle est facilement accessible et offre même un parking pour plus de commodité. Cependant, en fonction des voisins, elle peut devenir assez bondée et bruyante. Lorsque la mer est calme, c'est un endroit idéal pour les familles avec enfants, mais lorsque les vagues se lèvent, même les adultes peuvent trouver cela difficile. Pendant notre séjour, nous avons opté pour le club de plage Soul, qui proposait des chaises et des parasols confortables et neufs pour un tarif raisonnable de 20 €, ainsi qu'un parking ombragé pour les clients. Bien que vous soyez libre d'apporter vos propres boissons, le club propose également une gamme de boissons au choix. Pour ceux qui cherchent un peu plus d'intimité, le coin gauche de la plage est une excellente option, avec beaucoup d'espace pour les parasols et un fantastique restaurant, Akrogiali, servant l'une des meilleures nourritures de la plage. Bien que les chaussures d'eau soient recommandées, cela reste gérable si vous les oubliez.

Indubitablement, cette plage est l'une des plus pittoresques de Lefkada. En quittant le parking, dont le coût s'élève à 7 euros, vous rencontrerez une pléthore de grandes pierres. Toutefois, à mesure que vous vous aventurez plus au sud, vous serez récompensé par une plage de sable époustouflante et expansive, complète avec des vagues considérables. Malheureusement, je ne peux pas octroyer une évaluation de 5 étoiles en raison d'un accès moins qu'idéal. La route étroite nous a pris une heure entière pour parcourir une distance de 15 km. De plus, le plus grand problème était la tendance des individus à tenter d'éviter les frais de stationnement, ce qui a entraîné des voitures laissées sur la route et rendant l'accès à la plage assez difficile. Néanmoins, je retournerais certainement pour contempler sa beauté une fois de plus.

I had a great time at the beach during the first week of the season, despite the limited sailing opportunities due to stormy weather. The accommodation was basic but comfortable and clean, not luxurious. The staff were friendly and helpful. The sailing equipment varied; some boats were unavailable, but there were more of others than advertised. Some boats were a bit worn out, but there were 4 brand new Lasers that made up for it. There were also SUPs and kayaks for calmer mornings. The food at the taverna was surprisingly good and affordable, with other great restaurants nearby. I just got back home and I'm already planning my next visit; that says it all.

We stayed at this beach in 2014 when it was called Alexandros and I can still vividly recall the unpleasant rooms, odors, and overall atmosphere as if it happened yesterday. The reception area appeared nice, but we were given a basement room with a view of vegetation instead of the sea view we had booked and paid for. The room was small, smelly, with a tiny bathroom and watery liquid soap. The plumbing was noisy and disturbing whenever a neighbor used water, and the walls seemed thin as we could hear every noise from neighboring rooms. After speaking with the receptionist in the middle of the night (who was kind), we were moved to a slightly better room on the first floor, but it was still old and worn out, with the same plumbing issues and an infestation of mosquitoes. There was even a dead cockroach hanging from a light bulb, and the ceiling was painted a dark red color. After a difficult night, we were finally given a nice, clean, and modern room on the second floor. The room problems could have been overlooked if the lady we spoke to the next day, who I assume was the manager, had been polite and accommodating. Unfortunately, she was bossy, arrogant, and treated us poorly. We decided to leave a day early. It's disappointing that a hotel with a great location, parking, pool, and private beach is managed so poorly. During our recent visit to Lefkada, we stayed at Christina Studios and Avra Hotel in Ligia, which offered excellent hospitality, cleanliness, breakfast, and overall conditions at a similar price point to Alexandros in 2014. The island and towns were lovely.
