I do not typically leave reviews, but do yourself a favor, read this review, and most importantly, avoid this hotel at all cost!
As most who need a vacation, many decide to go to Mexico for the beautiful beach, weather, service and food. That is NOT what this resort provides.
Here are a few out of many complaints I’d like to disclose:
1. Service — the employees were consistently rude and pliantly annoyed by the guest. Room service was terrible. It took over an hour to get an order of fries, in which, when I did receive them, were cold. You can go 15 minutes at a restaurant before being acknowledged.
2. House keeping — considering this is an all inclusive resort, we never got our refrigerator or snack bar replenished. I called to get more and they never showed up. Each day they simply made the bed and provided clean towels. House keeping quite literally did the bare minimum.
3. Resort — this resort is terribly outdated, the pictures advertised are very misleading. There’s many repairs and upgrades needed to be made. Our room was considered a “suite” but shower heads were broken, pool tiles missing, cracks in the cement, landscaping nonexistent, lock of chairs and towels by the pool, the list goes on.
Most importantly, if you are looking for convenience, this is NOT the place. This requires a golf cart each time you want to go to different area of the resort. You must call the hotel to get a cart to pick you up at least 10 minutes prior to actually being ready to leave. And if you’re lucky you get an answer because at times the line consistently rang.
This is not a 5 star resort. Terrible experience and would not recommend to anyone looking for a great experience. Spend the extra $100 a night to get the ultimate experience you are looking for!
