Kitty Hawk Beach plages

For years, I used to park in the lot behind the hotel at the pier. I would stroll along the beach, searching for shells and capturing sunrise photos. It was always the highlight of my vacation. But not anymore. The hotel has acquired the pier and now uses it for special events. A parking lot attendant now oversees the lot, and it's reserved exclusively for hotel guests.

La vue depuis la jetée était absolument époustouflante ! Nous sommes allés à la jetée trois fois - une fois pendant la journée, avant le coucher du soleil, et encore le soir - et les trois visites étaient fantastiques. Le soir, il y avait de la musique live à l'extérieur, ce qui ajoutait à l'atmosphère agréable. Malgré la chaleur, il y avait une brise rafraîchissante sur la jetée. On pouvait même voir nos cheveux souffler dans le vent comme preuve de cela.
