Name: This beach is definitely worth the drive if you're staying in the Napier area and looking for sandy shores instead of pebbles. The river flowing into the ocean provides a nice option for those wanting to avoid the strong waves, especially if you have young children. The waves are perfect for boogie boarding and body surfing. I wish I had planned to spend the entire day there.
