Oak Beach County Park Beach

Adorable and spotless, with a delightful owner. It’s not luxurious, but it has all the essentials. Conveniently located near Port Austin and Caseville, it boasts a fantastic beach and a communal area perfect for socializing with friends, both old and new. I will definitely return.

Immaculately clean, situated right on the lake, offering privacy and seclusion from the busiest part of town. Convenient access to both Port Austin and Caseville, the state park, and numerous activities. The owners were fantastic and made sure to check in on us. Absolutely loved it!

This place was pretty much exactly what I expected based on their website and my phone conversation with the owner. I didn't really enjoy my stay, but that was due to factors beyond their control - the beds were too small for me (which I knew when I made my reservation), and it was incredibly hot (and I already knew there is no air conditioning). My wife and kids didn't seem to have a problem with either of those issues. We stayed in the #6 cottage. It has a full kitchen with pots, pans, utensils, and a refrigerator, stove, and microwave. The only thing they should really try to improve is the wifi - it was useless. My favorite feature was the beach access. Our cottage had a great view of the water, and it only took one minute to go from inside the cottage to swimming in Lake Huron. I also really liked the common area and enjoyed having a beer by the fire pit with some vacationers at night. If you reserve, it is cheapest to do so by phone, as there are built-in fees when booking online.

For over two decades, our family has chosen this spot for our vacations. The prime location on a sandy beach is ideal, with shallow, warm waters that are especially perfect for children. The new owners are fantastic. It's conveniently situated near Caseville and Port Austin, offering plenty of options for shopping and dining. A wonderful retreat for everyone.

I do like it. The location is very nice, but the houses... I wasn't very impressed. They are tiny (at least some of them) and outdated. There's no air-conditioning, which made my nights even harder. However, you do have hot and cold water with good pressure, dishes, a clean stove, fridge, and microwave. And the nature - it's just beautiful! The sandy beach is very good, and the patio and firepit will bring you joy when you stay here :)
