Another fantastic beach! I've been visiting other beaches in the area for years, but somehow this one slipped under my radar. Until now. If you love long walks on the beach, this is the place for you. The pathways from the parking lot to the beach are really short (less than a minute!). It's a great spot for swimming, with a shallow shore that extends a good distance. It's also perfect for launching an SUP, kayak, or similar watercraft.
Picnic tables are scattered along the beach, and they're quite sturdy! If you plan to stay for a while, consider bringing some sort of shade structure.
Please note that wood-burning fires are not allowed. Make sure to bring contained fuels for cooking. Friendly staff are enforcing these rules to ensure everyone can enjoy this beautiful spot.
The entry fee is $10. There are two parking lots, which would have plenty of space if not for the construction equipment taking up some spots. The first parking lot, located at the roundabout, has significantly more space.
The restrooms are excellent—clean and well-stocked with soap, toilet paper, and paper towels. Be aware that birds will wait until you leave to scavenge for scraps, whether food or not. Make sure to pack out everything you bring in.
