A rugged 5km stretch of sandy beach nestled between a lagoon and the sea, this location boasts extraordinary beauty. Adorned with large deposits of driftwood, it's more suited for walking than sunbathing. In the summer, it features an area with good infrastructure managed by the restaurant with rooms at the Goro lighthouse. Accessible by a reliable year-round ferry service from the dock in Bacucco, the beach is part of a park and would benefit from more cleaning to remove stranded plastic, ghost nets, and other fishing debris that mar the serene solitude and abundant bird life. A wilderness experience in the Delta that I absolutely loved! 😍
