Milton plages

I used to visit in the late 60s and 70s. We would camp with huge green tents, setting them up alongside friends and family. Back then, Tabourie wasn't well-known. We fished in the lake and swam at both the beach and the lake. We even went abalone diving at another beach. There were no homes, just a huge sand dune that we would slide down into the lake. On the island, we watched the little fairy penguins. Nowadays, I don't think I would go there because it has become so popular. I believe this place now caters to a different generation. We didn't have pools, jumping attractions, or water parks. On Sundays, a group we called the Mickey Mouse church would have someone dressed as Mickey walk around the campsite, gathering kids for Sunday school, giving parents a break for most of the day. We were very happy little vegemites. These are my cherished memories of Lake Tabourie. Enjoy your own memories.

The entire beach is walkable and the children really enjoyed it.

This beach in NSW is one of the best dog-friendly beaches I have visited. The swimming conditions were great during our visit, with calm waters.

Cet endroit est absolument magnifique et la promenade a été améliorée depuis ma dernière visite, permettant désormais l'accès en fauteuil roulant jusqu'à la plage. Si vous aimez regarder le lever du soleil, ce serait l'endroit idéal pour commencer votre journée. La rampe ou les escaliers sont situés à proximité des toilettes du parking.
